We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative in Southern Ontario.  In this role, you will serve as the face of our company, nurturing relationships with customers while striving to meet targets and maintaining existing partnerships with dealerships for our online dealer-to-dealer auto auction platform.

As a Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will involve identifying the unique needs of dealerships within your designated territory and helping them streamline their wholesale operations. You will play a pivotal role in the implementation of our sales strategy across Southern Ontario and collaborate closely with virtually every member of the Otolane operations and sales team. Responsibilities 

• Foster and cultivate customer relationships to secure their loyalty and drive business growth.

• Take direct ownership of dealer consignment and purchases, ensuring it meets specified targets, including buyer engagement and selling objectives

• Swiftly address customer concerns, working collaboratively with our Dealer Support Team and supporting technical teams.

• Convey to customers and potential clients how our company's products and services can optimize profitability and enhance their business.

• Work with our customers to help develop an effective strategy to improve efficiencies within their wholesale operations.

• Deliver necessary customer training when required and perform captures to select customers as required.

• Stay updated on product and service innovations, changing customer needs, market conditions, and competitors, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.

• Analyze sales data, compile reports, and perform other related administrative tasks.

• Contribute ideas and strategies to optimize our marketing outreach.

• Actively participate in industry or promotional events, such as trade shows, to promote awareness and drive the growth of our dealer network.

• Evaluate sales performance based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Monitor competition within your assigned region.


Qualifications 

• Experience in the automotive industry 

• Outside Sales (3+ years) 

• Proven experience in sales, building and maintain relationships 

• Experience in closing and negotiation

• Experience with effectively executing each stages of a sales cycle

• Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is an asset

• Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Strong time-management and organizational aptitude

• Possessing a strong ability to analyze a problem and construct the most effective solution
